Bratsen is a 6-0, 160 lb athlete from Central Texas. He has outstanding quick twitch actions and is deceptively strong for his size. Bratsen has 6.36 speed in the 60 but his true baseball speed is better due to his lightening quick first step. He regularly runs in the 3.85-3.95 area from the right side and should be an impact base stealer at the upper levels. Bratsen's defensive skills rank right with his speed; he has a cannon arm from right and centerfield and extreme range. Offensively he has a quick, short line drive swing and will continue to improve as he learns how to drive the ball with authority. Bratsen is also a highly acclaimed football prospect as a punter. He has a verbal commitment to Texas A&M. His tools are going to create lots of serious draft interest.
