Justin Upton – MLB
Class of 2004 – East Team

As the #1 overall pick of the 2005 MLB June draft, Justin Upton has more than followed in older brother B.J. Upton's footsteps, he's creating his own. The younger of the only brothers to ever go #1 and #2 in the MLB draft (B.J. #2 overall to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2002 and Justin #1 overall to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2005), Upton is an emerging star as one of the youngest players on the Arizona Diamondbacks' roster at age 20. Making his major league debut on August 2, 2007 at age 19, Upton started strong and hasn't slowed down. Up to this point for 2008, his performance has been well above the league average for his position, batting .322 on the season, with six (6) home runs, 21 RBIs and 23 runs.

As a 2004 Aflac All-American, Upton earned the inaugural Jackie Robinson Award which was presented to him by Rachel Robinson, wife of the late Dodgers Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson. The award is presented to the player who demonstrates outstanding character, exhibits leadership, and embodies the values of being a student-athlete in both his schoolwork and community affairs.

Jason Heyward – MiLB
Class of 2006 – East Team

A right-fielder from just south of Atlanta, Jason Heyward was the Braves' first selection in the 2007 MLB June draft, their highest selection since 1991, as the 14th overall pick. Currently with MiLB's Rome Braves, Heyward leads the team in batting average (.320), hits (56), and runs (33). He's played in all 45 games, hit four home runs, driven in 21 runs, stolen eight bases and was recently named the South Atlantic League player of the month in April 2008 after hitting .330 with three home runs and 16 RBIs.

Heyward is accustomed to earning accolades. A stand-out at Henry County High School, he was named to the 2007 USA Today High School All-American team and led his high school to its first ever state championship in baseball. A star on-and-off the field, Rome Braves manager Randy Ingle has been impressed with Heyward's maturity, stating "His parents should feel very proud. They've got a young gentleman there".

Grant Green - NCAA
Class of 2005 – West Team

As USC's first true freshman to start at shortstop since Seth Davidson in 1998, Green flourished as he started every game for the Trojans and eventually earned Rivals.com and Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America second team honors. Named 2007 Pac-10 Conference Co-Freshman of the Year, Green batted .316 on the season (72-for-228) with 14 doubles, a school-record 10 triples, two home runs, 24 RBIs and six stolen bases. Grant's 10 triples broke the previous school record of eight, held by three players and he finished the season with a streak of 17 games without committing an error.

Prior to attending USC, Green was a member of the 2005 U.S. Junior National Team, batting .412 with six RBIs and two stolen bases at the 2005 Pan-Am Championships. Green is now on the radar as one of the nation's top collegiate shortstops and will continue to project as a high future draft pick with a solid 2008 sophomore season.

Robert Stock - NCAA
Class of 2006 – West Team

For many, Robert Stock is the definition of 'love for the game' of baseball. He graduated early from Agoura High School to enroll at USC, turning down potential millions as he was a projected top ten draft pick for the 2007 MLB Draft. When asked about his decision to delay playing in the majors to play at USC he said, "My goal isn't to make money, it's to play in the major leagues one day; and so I felt that the progression as a player was worth it".

In his Freshman year at USC, Stock started in 38 of 45 games while making 14 appearances on the mound, batted .253 on the season (38-for-150) with five doubles, four home runs and 22 RBIs. On the mound, Stock was 2-2 with a 4.55 ERA and two saves; in 29 2/3 innings, he allowed 25 hits and 15 earned runs while walking 14 and striking out 25, opponents hit only .238 against him. In his 2008 sophomore season, Stock should be the Trojans' starting catcher; he will also see time as one of the team's key relievers.

Prior to enrolling at USC, Stock was a member of the 2004 and 2005 U.S. Youth National Team and was also named the 2005 Baseball America Youth Player of the year. No stranger to national honors, Stock was also named by Baseball as the top player in America in his age group when he was 13, 14 and 15 years old.
