Arencibia is a slender 6-1, 165 lb outfielder from Key West, Florida. He's a quick twitch athlete with outstanding speed (6.38 in the 60) that when combined with his instincts in centerfield gives him outstanding range. Arencibia's arm strength and accuracy also grades out as well above MLB average and he should be an impact defensive centerfielder. Offensively, Arencibia is a left handed hitter with surprising whip and bat speed for his size. He has some lift in his swing from an open stance and has shown the ability to pull the ball with authority. The tools are all there and scouts will be following him closely.
