Tago is a lean, slender and extremely projectable 6-3, 180 lb right hander from Southern California. He has very loose actions and a physical makeup that can be compared to a young Dominican prospect. Tago throws from an effortless delivery and an extended 3/4's release point. His 91-93 mph fastball velocity comes easily and he can maintain it deep into games. His easy delivery and release enables him to moves his fastball around the zone and command the corners. Tago is a primary fastball pitcher but will flash quality spin and shape on his mid 70's curveball when he stays on top of the pitch. He has made a verbal commitment to UCLA. It's easy to see Tago increasing his velocity and becoming a first round pick next June.
