The 6-4, 215 lb Shreve likely has less experience on the baseball field than any of his Aflac All-American peers but he has an enormously high ceiling. He is one of the most highly regarded quarterback prospects in the country but is just starting to realize what a good pitching prospect he has become. Shreve pitches in the 91-93 mph range from a very easy delivery with a clean and smooth arm action. HeÕll cut his fastball at 89 mph with nasty late life, a pitch that he could easily develop into a plus MLB slider. Shreve also shows surprisingly good feel for a change up given his lack of innings. Being such an outstanding athlete and having a smooth magical arm makes Shreve a first round type pitcher if not an NFL quarterback.
